Things
have been moving along. We finally are able to take possession of the
apartment we rented either the 22nd or the 23rd. We have a great deal of
cleaning to do before we get comfortable. Looks like the place has not
been cleaned in years. the kitchen walls are .... brown.. but painted
Blue.. The Truck we got is doing better, we had to fix the carburetor,
the battery, the barrings in the back two wheels. We had to push start
it for almost a week until we got the battery done. I was amazed to see
them use a basting ball to pull the water out of the battery and check
to see if it was good. The truck is a 1999 Renault. There are 2
captain's chairs and that is all. The kids and I flop around the back
while Lala (translator) and Blue drive us around. They drive on the
American side of the road and out steering wheel is also on the correct
side. So that makes their crazy driving a little easyer..
Kids are
all good and Blue and I are getting by... I have lots to post on the
Blog but we have had problems opening the program I wrote it in.. SO.. I
Will get to that soon enough...

Sounds like the adventure has definitely begun. I was so glad to finally hear something from you! I've been thinking about you and the family for a while now! I miss you guys so much already! I hope you will have more fun stories to tell and I'm so excited to hear them all! I'll be reading! Love you so much! Be safe! Give hugs and kisses to the kids for me!
